Product: Filter Press

Manufacturer: USA USFilter

Advantages Of Membrane Filter Press System

Reduced cycle time versus standard recessed chamber press.
Cake discharges better than standard recessed chamber press.
Produces drier cake than other forms of dewatering (centrifuges and belt presses).
Produces better quality filtrate (captures more than 99.8% of all solids).
Uses less chemicals for coagulating the sludge particles.

Overhead Filter Press:

Plate Locking
Automatic Cloth Washing
Automatic Cake Discharge
Four hydraulic closing cylinders, positioned at the corners, give even distribution of closing load over gasket sealing surfaces.
Each filter press offers only static loading to foundations (no dynamic load) thereby making building design or steelwork simpler and cheaper.
Because the closing load is balanced between the four hydraulic cylinders these presses can be used with maximum number of chambers (I.e. 200 chambers on 2000mm press).

Small Sidebar Filter Presses

Available in 7 bar or 15 bar design
250mm and 320mm presses only available with hand hydraulic closure and manual plate movement
470mm press available with hand hydraulic, air hydraulic or electric hydraulic closure and manual plate movement
630mm, 800mm and 1200mm presses available with air hydraulic or electric hydraulic closure and manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic plate movement

Sidebar Design-Large Presses:

1300mm, 1500mm, 2m x 1.5m and 2m x 2m presses available only with electric hydraulic closure and semi-automatic or fully automatic plate movement
Automatic drip trays, automatic cloth washing and automatic cake discharge using pry, bump and weigh available on 630mm and above

Replaceable Membrane (Diaphragm) Filter Plates

Available in the following sizes:

500 x 500
1200 x 1200
1300 x 1300
1500 x 1500
2000 x 1500
2000 x 2000
Squeeze pressures up to 15 bar
Nominal cake thickness before squeeze of 30mm, 40mm and 50mm available
Membrane sheets are reinforced around centre feed
Membrane manufactured from natural rubber or PP
Membrane body and recessed chamber plates are moulded using specially formulated SBR type hard rubber compound
Continuity of rubber covering is checkedwhen using 12,000 volt moving spark test
All membrane body and recessed chamber plates are fully machined around the gasket areas and across the tops of the staybosses to ensure close tolerances of parallelism and a smooth sealing surface.
100% inspection of all finished items
Membrane sheets fit into continuous groove on inside of gasket face of body plate
Filtrate drainage is outboard of flex point of membrane
Flat topped 'pipped' filtration surface gives excellent cloth support
60% open drainage area for filtrate drain
