Leopold IMS Cap-Eliminate the need for support gravel

Leopold Universal Type S and Type SL can be specified with Integrated Media Support (Leopold IMS) cap factory-installed on the top of the underdrain block.

Leopold IMS cap is another filter technology innovation pioneered by Leopold as replacement for support gravel in filters equipped with Leopold dual lateral underdrain.

The overall depth can be reduced by eliminating the support gravel and allowed deeper media in existing filters.

Leopold IMS cap allows easy removal and change of media such as activated carbon.
